SIL provides around the clock (24 hour) day-to-day support to people with disability. We supports people to live in a diverse range of shared independent living arrangements in NSW, SA, WA, QLD and the NT.

As a registered NDIS provider, we can assist you to achieve your goals and maximise community participation and independence with NDIS accommodation services. We have a very dedicated team of support staff to ensure our support is efficient, timely. .

Supported Independent Living residents with NDIS packages that fund assistance with daily living typically choose help with:

  • Decision making, daily planning and budgeting
  • Building skills for shopping and cooking for healthy eating
  • Written communication and filling in forms
  • Specialised behaviour support
  • Learning to maintain a household with tasks such as laundry and cleaning
  • Developing and maintaining connections with family and friends and for some; getting ready for the day and other personal care tasks.

If you have SIL included in your NDIS plan, you can get 24 hour day-to-day support with:

Supported Independent Living (SIL) is when people with mental illnesses and disabilities receive support, usually 24/7, to help each person live as independently as possible. This can sometimes be a group of people sharing a home together, or one person receiving support in their own home.You will also receive support with everyday tasks like cleaning, cooking and personal care.

SIL does not include other types of support such as attending lifestyle day programs, employment, or community participation. However, these items can be added under different funding supports within an NDIS plan
