What function does P Homecare serve?

What is the purpose of the SDA Homes in Western Sydney?

NDIS SDA is a government-funded programme that offers housing and specially designed homes tailored to the needs of individuals with disabilities to those who require a high degree of support.

To meet the needs of people who have special support needs or are seriously usefully hindered, SDA was developed. However, not all disabled individuals in Western Sydney can benefit from an SDA response to their housing needs because not all NDIS participants receive SDA in their NDIS plans.

SDA housing is defined as having a high level of support needs or severe disabilities. SDA Housing does not refer to services; it refers to housing. SDA may have features or locations that enable extensive or expensive independent living aids, or specialised designs for individuals with high needs.

SDA Design Guideline:

Experts from the public and private sectors, as well as organisations that specialise in disability services and the lodging sector, collaborated to generate concepts for the SDA Design Standard. It describes an updated plan structure that will be added to a recently constructed SDA. Four SDA categories are defined under this standard by the SDA Rules:

How can one obtain funding for SDA?

You must be an NDIS participant and practise to the NDIA in order to have it covered below Capital Supports in your NDIS plan in order to receive NDIS SDA funding.
