What is MTA (Medium Term Accommodation ndis)?

Medium-Term Accommodation (MTA) is designed to allow NDIS participants a safe, appropriate temporary housing solution for up to three months.

NDIS Medium Term Accommodation Sydney is not standalone support. NDIS generally funds medium term accommodation for up to 90 days.

Medium Term Accommodation (MTA) is a type of accommodation provided to people with disability who require temporary or short-term housing support. Medium Term Accommodation NDIS

MTA may include a range of different services, depending on the individual’s needs and circumstances. Funding for medium term accommodation only covers the cost of the accommodation for the time you stay there. It is a temporary, extra cost you have due to your disability support needs.


NDIS Funding for medium term accommodation does not include day-to-day living costs like food, internet or electricity. It also doesn’t include any personal care supports, or other supports you get in your home.
